Oliver Naumann ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you use the Tetratonics iOS application ("the App").
1. Data We Do Not Collect
Tetratonics is inherently designed to respect your privacy by operating completely offline. We deliberately engineered the app to ensure your data stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or process any of your personal information, usage data, or diagnostic data on our servers.
- No account creation is required.
- No analytics tracking frameworks are installed.
- No advertising identifiers (IDFA) are requested or used.
- All "Favorite" chord configurations and analyses are stored strictly on your local device.
2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
To provide core application functionality, the App stores your saved chord formulas ("Favorites") and basic interface preferences (e.g., last viewed tuning layout) locally in your device's secured storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly back it up using Apple’s iCloud Backup service.
3. Third-Party Services
Because the App operates 100% locally and offline, we do not share your data with any third-party analytics providers, advertisers, or computing services. If you download the App via the Apple App Store, Apple Inc. may collect limited operational data according to your iOS privacy settings and Apple's own privacy policy.
4. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to send any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
5. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
